Job Description

The National Addiction Awareness Complex is seeking a highly motivated and experienced human resources professional to join our team (part-time in the immediate term). The ideal candidate will lead and assist efforts to attract talent for positions, develop training material, answer human resources related questions for NAAC contractor staff.

Familiarity with addiction recovery terminology and lifestyle of recovery is encouraged. If you are in addiction recovery yourself, we welcome you to apply, and we are seeking a minimum of 1-year of continuous sobriety.

Responsibilities

  • Assist NAAC leadership in developing Human Resources strategy.
  • Develop position descriptions for job postings to meet organizational needs.
  • Develop processes and procedures for the application, interview, and onboarding processes for NAAC contracting staff and employees.
  • Review the website and NAAC Indeed account to manage applications and pass qualified candidate onto NAAC staff for interviews/engagement.

As a startup team member, we are offering Revenue Base Compensation as a Contractor for this opportunity. Compensation will be fully explained during the interview process. As a contractor, you will need to be financially stable to participate with us as a startup team member.

  4. Acknowledgement that you understand this position is offered as an Independent Freelance Contractor and that you are financially stable to receive compensation as a percentage of funds raised by the NAAC.
  5. The PA county in which you currently reside.
  6. Whether you are able/willing to make meetings at our planning office in Denver, PA when needed.
