Building Organizational Capacity & Conducting Studies

Welcome to Our Fundraising Focus,

In order for this vision to become a reality, the NAAC leadership team is laser focused on building our organizational capacity. To do this, we require resources that will allow us to find the right talent for the right positions to build a strong organizational structure which enables us to navigate the financial, political, and legal hurdles we will encounter. On top of all of this, we are starting to build our brand and establish our presence in the communities we hope to serve. These are not small tasks!

To secure the required funding and find the right talent, we are focused on the following initiatives:

• Identifying the Skillsets Required as We Expand the Board of Directors – Finding the right people who believe in our mission and can help us deliver on our projects and campaigns.
• Establishing Achievable and Concrete Milestones for our Fundraising – The first of which is to raise the funding from private donors and sponsors to conduct a third-party study (see details below).
• Researching Grant Opportunities – Targeting grants at the state and federal levels to secure available funding set aside for organization’s building organizational capacity – particularly private grants and family foundations.
• Engaging Both Corporations and Local Businesses – Finding partners that are eager to show their supporting by sponsoring the NAAC and the events we host.
• Reinvesting in Our Fundraising Capabilities – Looking to launch a mobile visitor to spread awareness about our vision and mission across SE Pennsylvania.

The first milestone for fundraising is $300,000 to conduct a feasibility / economic impact study. The NAAC will evaluate third-party consulting firms that have demonstrated expertise to evaluate:

• Marking and Financial Feasibility
• Locations & Impact on Business Plan
• Socio-economic Impact
• NAAC Project Review – Refining Financing and Implementation Plans
