Hello Community!
I just returned from the Council on Chemical Abuse’s (COCA) Annual Conference, and wow, what an experience! It was inspiring to join so many dedicated professionals and advocates committed to advancing addiction treatment and awareness.
The educational sessions were nothing short of incredible. These sessions not only deepened my understanding of emerging trends in addiction treatment but also provided actionable insights that counselors can use to reinforce their treatment strategies. It’s always energizing to see such a strong focus on evidence-based practices and innovative approaches.
As the leader of the NAAC and an individual in recovery, I had multiple roles to play at the conference:
While exploring these organizations, I couldn’t help but think about how some of these partners might fit into the NAAC’s mission. Establishing these connections is crucial as we expand our reach and impact going forward.
Join Our Mission: Calling Volunteers
As we continue to grow, we are looking for individuals who can bring their life skills and expertise to our team. Specifically, we are seeking semi-retired or retired professionals with experience in fundraising. Additionally, planning out the building and operations of the sections of the complex requires expertise and we are putting together planning teams.
If you have experience in planning, operations, or hospitality management, we’d love for you to share your expertise in helping us build and refine our facilities and programming. Your knowledge can make a meaningful impact on our mission to create a fun, yet safe, welcoming destination environment.
Happy Holidays
As we reflect on a year full of learning, growth, and progress, I want to take a moment to thank each of you for your unwavering support. Your dedication to our mission is what makes everything we do possible.
Wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year filled with peace, joy, and hope. May the holiday season bring renewal and inspiration as we prepare for the exciting opportunities ahead in 2025!
Warm Regards,
